December's theme is 'Tis the Season! and our bakers went all out with variations on Christmas mince pies, liqueur-laced bickies, strawberry Santas, a rich panforte and an entire gingerbread house!
Even (or maybe especially) for the non-religious, Christmas time means breaking out the specialty recipes that are kept just for this holiday. Getting together with family means sharing new and old recipes, and continuing (and disrupting) traditions. Whether you associate this time of year with nostalgic, cosy flavours like nutmeg and gingerbread, summer favourites like fresh fish and salads, old family recipes or kitchen experimentation, it's a chance to celebrate your tastebuds.
