Magazines on Libby

Did you know that you can access magazines via the Libby app? Libby is the popular app you can download from your preferred app store for free and which makes borrowing Overdrive titles a breeze. (To find out more about Overdrive and the library’s e-collection there are useful tips on the library website when you visit the e-Library page.) 

For magazines on Libby, initiate a search and you will find an opportunity to Explore with Filters, where one of the options will be magazines. Narrow your selection in the Preferences field and select a subject, such as Home & Garden or Crafts, etc. in the Refine field. Once you’ve made a selection, click Borrow as you would with any e-book or e-audiobook. The lending period is three weeks and Libby will return the title automatically then, unless you want to return it early. You can do this by visiting your Shelf on the Libby app, selecting the title and ‘Manage Loan’, then ‘Return Early’. 

With over three thousand magazine titles available, you are sure to find one to interest you. Best of all, these titles are always available, so there's no need to place holds. Just borrow and read to your heart’s content.
