Junior Members and Kids Cards

As a parent or caregiver, you can sign up children in your care as a Junior Member. This is for children under the age of 16.

A parent or caregiver fills in the online registration form, at home or in the library. To complete the registration process, visit the circulation desk with ID for the caregiver (a driver's licence or passport) and proof of address (e.g., a bill or bank statement).

A Kidz card provides an adult with a special extra card that he / she can use to issue items for the child/ren in his / her care. Ask at the desk for more information about Kidz cards.

Join us in the Childrens' Sections for stories and crafts!

Havelock North Library - Wednesday 10.30am (term time only)

Flaxmere Library - Thursday 10.30am (term time only)

Hastings Library - Wednesday 10.30am (term time only) & Sunday 2.00pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend. We ask that all children be accompanied by a caregiver.

We may take photographs or video recordings during events and programmes which may be used in Council promotional material.
