
Hastings District Libraries hold a wide range of programmes throughout the year, involving both children and adults.
During school holidays there's plenty happening across our three libraries to keep the kids entertained. We'll add activities and events to this page as the holiday break comes nearer, so keep checking in with us here, or through Facebook and Twitter.
If you kids aren't taking part in the Summer Sparks challenge this year, then there are still plenty of things on to keep them entertained. Click on a library below to find out what we have on offer!

Ever wanted to give coding a go? Come along for a full hour of online and offline coding and if you're lucky, control our robots too. Suitable 8+. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Friday 11 January 10 - 11am
You have been stranded on a planet where humans have never been before! Come along and create your planet and its inhabitants. Suitable 5+.
Monday 14 January 10 - 11:30am
Give offline coding a try by making some jewellery with a message. Suitable 7+.
Wednesday 16 January 10 - 11am
Come along to celebrate our local myths and legends in this storytime. Suitable for all ages.
Thursday 17 January 10am - 3pm
Explore the ocean from the comfort of the couch. Join us for two movies about our favourite neon fish. Suitable for all ages.
