Late Night Which Craft

Adulting is hard and life is hectic. It’s important to take time out for you.

Channel your creativity and join a community of crafters every Thursday evening at Hastings Library. Drop in between 5 and 7pm – this time is yours, no need to rush to get here. Bring whatever you want to work on, whether you’re painting miniatures, whittling wood, doing needlework or something else. There are outlets for plugging in your sewing machine or hot glue gun.

These sessions are unstaffed – BYO supplies and learn from each other.

Five times a year we’ll run facilitated workshops where you can learn a new skill from an expert (or a really enthusiastic librarian). Keep an eye out for these events in February, April, June, August and October. We'll pop information below when it is closer to the time.

August Workshop: Bookbinding Returns!

Take a break from the daily grind. Relax with a glass of wine and join Keirunga Book Arts for a repeat of 2022’s bookbinding workshop. Learn to create your own hand-stitched notebook. All materials provided (but if you have special paper or card you’d like to include, bring it along). No experience necessary.
