Hastings District Libraries runs the MEH programme for teens 13-18yrs over the summer holidays.
Taking a cue from other successful library programmes, Meh is an offering just for teens and is delivered over the summer months. The programme includes a set of challenges and events to keep them reading, discovering and engaged.
It is designed so that it can be done completely virtually, within the library or a bit of both. As well as this, there are some great prizes up for grabs!
You can register and start reporting in from Monday 1 December, so come back then, and all the links and stuff should be active.
Start working your way through the 12 challenges. You can choose whichever squares you would like to complete.
Karawhiua ngā wero! Give the challenges a go! Each time you complete a challenge report in virtually on the Meh page, or tēnā haere mai – come in and see us.
Be in to win awesome prizes! Me whai wāhi mai kia toa ai! - There are lots of goodies and vouchers up for grabs during the weekly prize draws running between the 1st of December 2025 and the 25th of January 2026. You will automatically be entered in to the draw for each week that you complete a challenge.
Participants who have completed 4 or more challenges will go in the grand draw to win a $100 Prezzy card.
