Play, Learn, Connect, is a vibrant pop-up play series hosted by Hastings District Libraries, for whānau with young pēpi and tamariki. 

With five interactive events throughout the year -facilitated by experts and our library team - Play, Learn, Connect, provides tools and insights into engaging tamariki in meaningful play and understanding their development. It also offers a chance to explore play-based learning through child-led play and creativity. 

The first week of March is Messy Play Week, an annual celebration of all forms of messy play – think gloop, paint and sand!  

Join us in getting messy with special guests, Cornwall Park Playcentre, our local experts in play.

Don’t forget to wear old clothes!
