If you have Bluetooth hearing aids, you can connect them via your smart phone to the library's e-audiobooks.

  • Download the audiobook app to your phone. (This might be the Libby app or the Ulverscroft app.)
  • On your phone, search for Hastings District Libraries.
  • Under Quicklinks select eLibrary.
  • Follow the instructions for downloading the ebook platform you want to use.
  • Connect your hearing aids to the app by opening the settings on your phone.

  • Find the name of your hearing aid in the list of devices and select it.
  • When you start your audiobook, the narrator will be speaking into your hearing aid.
  • As long as you don't go too far away from your phone, you can walk around listening to your audiobook without holding your phone.
