Apps and links for eBooks and eAudiobooks  

Each of our eBook collections have Apps to make borrowing to your device quick and easy. 

LOTE is a database of digital books in World Languages created for children, so they can enjoy books and learn language through storytelling. The platform provides over 1600+ digital books in 50+ languages, together with English translations. New books and languages are released each month.

Overdrive's Libby app allows you to download ebooks directly onto your phone or tablet. For Wheelers use ePlatform App. Ulverscroft Digital requires the ULibrary App.

• Go to your App store to download the App and follow the set up prompts to log in by entering your library card number and pin.
• Browse or search and choose an item, clicking on it to borrow and download to your device.
• You can also search the HDL Catalogue and download by clicking on the link from the item record. It will download to your account and can then be opened in the App on your device.
• Listen or read on your smartphone or tablet. The item will automatically return once the loan period is finished.
• To transfer eBooks to an eReader, such as a Kobo, follow these Overdrive instructions.
