Donations and Bequests Ngā Koha

Below is information helpful to anyone considering making a bequest or a donation to the Hastings District Libraries.

Bequests

Hastings District Libraries welcome enquiries from benefactors who would like to support work of the libraries in the future by making a bequest.

A bequest is a provision in your will that names the recipient or recipients of your estate.

When making a bequest to the Hastings District Libraries you may wish to specify:

  • an amount of money;
  • a percentage of your estate; or
  • the remainder of your estate.

A general bequest allows the Hastings District Libraries to allocate the funds wherever the need is greatest.

How do I make a bequest?
