Baking Club

Do you love to bake?

The Hastings Baking Club meets to share recipes, baking tips, and of course food! We have a new theme every month, and bring along something we’ve made to share. Baking Club members also get first access to new baking and food books.

It’s a great way to meet new people, learn something new and bond over kai. Baking experiments are more than welcome!

When do we meet?

We meet once a month on the 1st Tuesday of each month
10.30am - 11.30am at Hastings War Memorial Library

What are the monthly themes?

Our themes for the 2024 year will be:

5 March           Bake something with an unusual name
2 April              Cereal
7 May              Mystery ingredient
4 June             Cheese!
2 July               Vegan
6 August          Use a recipe from Recollect
3 September    Flowers
1 October        Cookies
5 November     Five or fewer ingredients
3 December     Summer favourites

We may take photographs or video recordings during events and programmes which may be used in Council promotional material.
