You can join up at any of our three libraries.

You are welcome to join Hastings District Libraries, and make the most of our extensive community resources. If you are a Hastings, Napier or Central Hawke's Bay resident it is free to be a member of Hastings District Libraries.

You can fill out a membership form online, or in person at the Hastings, Flaxmere or Havelock North libraries.

New Digital Only membership

You can now join Hastings District Libraries as a digital only member. Note: you cannot join as a digital only member if you already have full library membership. Digital only memberships are only available for those that live in the Hastings District.

Just fill out this membership form online and choose the digital membership option. Make note of your membership number and PIN. You are now ready to explore and use all of our online resources. Try our quick guide to eBooks and eAudio, have a look through our kids eLibrary or explore our large range of knowledge databases.
